June 29-July 1, 2009 - Pescara, Italy
The 6th Italian-Sino (SI6) Workshop on Relativistic Astrophysics will be held at Pescara, Italy on June 29-July 1, 2009. The aim of this workshop is to provide a platform for information and ideal interchange between Sino and Italian researchers on recent advances in modern astrophysics. The year 2009 is UN's year of Astronomy, which is to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first astronomical observation, using the telescope made by Galileo Galilei.
The year 1609 was also the first time of scientific exchange between China and Europe. Beside the traditional topics of relativistic astrophysics, the SI6 Workshop will also focus on the on-going and possible cooperations of observational projects between China and Italy.
